We had a great game of frisbee today at 7PM. There were about a dozen people there. The weather was cool and sunny enough to see but not interfere with the game after 7:45. I made a great catch in the end zone.. after sprinting and sliding on my knees for 7 feet (the ground was quite wet). I wasn’t expecting that much water to be there.. they water the fields daily but there is little to no drainage. It makes it seem a bit more like rugby though. Sliding can be awesome. Then again, I didn’t intend on getting my new shoes all muddy. These are the first general-purpose shoes I’ve bought in 4 years, so I intend on keeping these for a while!

For better or worse, I’ve renewed my addiction to Roller Coaster Tycoon after going to Dorney Park last weekend (it was awesome, btw). It is among the best all-around games that I have ever played, but it certainly has reason to garner the name ‘afternoon-eater’ (actually, I think SimCity was the first game that we gave that title, I’m not sure).

We’re up to playing frisbee 4 times a week, which is great. I’m going to miss this when we get back to school… which will be rather soon as exec week starts the 11th of August. I guess it’s going from one good thing to another, so I shouldn’t complain, but the passing of time is just painful in general, I suppose.

Maybe I’ll get a paid account soon, I think this is a good thing to have. Though blogs are trendy at the moment, I like them because they bring back a lot of the original flavor of the internet… a focus on personal content, most of which was crappy. But it did have a certain rustic charm :)
