Audioscrobbler

I’ve been playing around with Audioscrobbler a lot today. I’m not going to bother to explain it a lot, I just recommend it if you listen to a lot of music on your computer. I’ve created a group for Lehigh students and alumni, so it can build aggregate statistics for us if we get enough people. Joining is free and they have plugins for most music players (it’s integrated into amarok). The plugins report what you’re listening to to the server so it can build listening stats. It’s all very transparent and unobstrusive.

I think Paul Z has recommended this a while ago, but I didn’t get to look at it until it was integrated into amarok.
