I’ve found one problem with reading comments for my own posts from my friends page: I miss some comments that are posted too late. I went through some old entries and found some comments, I’ll remember to be more careful of this in the future. I’m downloading a bunch of music that Paul Z suggested in a comment, in addition to what I was already working on (I think I have 16 albums on the way at the moment). I’m getting so much music so fast that I barely have time to listen to everything, but I’m sure I’ll slow down and catch up soon. I’m around 6.5 days of music on this computer (>2000 files). This doesn’t mean anything about the quality, but it has been growing a lot lately.
I went on a really good run today… 4.37 miles according to my route manager. I ran it in about 34 minutes: under 8 minutes a mile which was a good pace considering how little I’ve been running lately. I almost got hit by a car, and it was definitely my fault… I should avoid bigger intersections. Since I haven’t been able to run as much lately, I’m not planning on trying to do a half marathon. I felt pretty strong as far as endurance today, but 5 miles and 13 miles are quite different. I hope to do a 5K (3.1 mi) instead, I could probably come close to 20 minutes, depending on the course.
Tyler let me borrow his headphones to run today, which was really helpful. I can’t seem to run more than 2 or 3 miles without music or someone to talk to. That typically meant Sanket last year and my mp3 player this year. It’s not too good that I’ve become dependent on distraction like that, but whatever.
If you read Maddox, definitely read his april fools page for this year. It’s hilarious.
I have a test in math (numerical methods) on Wednesday, and I started studying for it tonight. This is quite out of character for me, especially this semester, but I got a 77 on the first test and there’s no curve in the class. The material is relatively difficult, so I need to turn it around this time. I’ll be a little calmer once I’m past that.
This weekend was pretty fun, Monday should continue the trend prior to the intense math studying that should follow.
