Waterboarding!
If you think that waterboarding is some type of surfing or you’re nominated for US Attorney General (or both), check out http://waterboarding.org/. It has a good description of what waterboarding is, along with interesting commentary and stories. The common description “simulated drowning” is woefully inadequate. The best page to read is the How-To (don’t try it, though).
Another good read is What Waterboarding Looks Like (with non-graphic pictures).

Thought
A while ago, I posted a list of people I had met who have articles about them on wikipedia. Tonight, the question of this: If everyone (dead or alive) performed that task, whose list would be the longest?
Discuss.

Awesome
Iconic photographs re-enacted by senior citizens
There were two that I didn’t exactly recognize, but they seemed vaguely familiar. The others are very well done and hilarious in a strange way.

Updated travel plans
November
15 - 19: Back at Lehigh for Lehigh/Lafayette, marching with the band. I’ll arrive the evening of the 15th (Thurs), and I’m not precisely sure when I’m leaving or how I’m getting to the next leg of the journey…
20 - 24: In Connecticut for Thanksgiving and the Manchester Road Race. Leaving the afternoon of the 24th.
24 - 27: In Florida visiting my grandmother and Kowalski
27 - 29: In St. Petersburg FL for the CNN/YouTube Republican Presidential Debate
December
22 - 31: In New England for Christmas (though I won’t really be arriving in CT until the 23rd)
Weird… I’ll be on the East coast for half of the weekends through the end of the year.
