I’ve seen a few people mention Hemmingway’s 6-word story in the last year, which I hadn’t heard of before. The story is:
For sale: baby shoes, never worn
There’s a flickr group for 6-word stories, though most of them aren’t too good. Wired had an article in which they asked a bunch of different writers to try writing 6-word stories. There are quite a few… some of them are quite amusing, though most of them seem like summaries instead of stories.
I wonder if there’s a minimum length a piece of text must have for it to be copyrighted…

Most of these sound like headlines rather than full stories like the Hemingway one was. My favorites, regardless, are:
