Hey, Pennsylvanians!

The country temporarily cares what you think! The PA Democratic primary is on April 22, but in order to vote in that, you need to be a registered democrat by March 24th, which is, of course, my birthday. You can register to vote here.

(FUN FACT: this blog gets more visits from PA than any other state)

I think it’s interesting that John Hodgeman says that he’ll leave the democratic party (http://areasofmyexpertise.blogspot.com/2008/03/my-two-cents-which-are-worth-exactly-12.html) and here i am seriously considering joining the democratic party to vote for obama.

Yeah, I understand his sentiment. If Hillary is the nominee, I’m going to be a whole lot less interested in the election this year. Her campaign is the epitome of establishment, and I couldn’t care less about the party itself. I have another rant about how both parties rig elections for insiders (through rules), but I’ll save that for another day.

I was surprised PA required you to register as a democrat for the primary.. the dems let independents vote in a lot of states.
