FriendFeed

I don’t think I’ve mentioned FriendFeed on here before. FriendFeed lets you take all your public online activity (blog posts, pictures uploaded, google reader shared items, etc) and combine them into one feed. Then, you can view a stream of your friends’ online activities and discuss items on the site. Lifehacker has a good overview of the site, as I’m clearly not good at explaining it.

I like using FriendFeed, but unfortunately I only know a few people on the site (a lot of googlers use it, since the company consists of ex-googlers).  Most of my friends don’t seem to be very feed-friendly, for some reason.  I guess that only seems odd from inside a silicon valley bubble.  You can view my feed here, though it’s not particularly interesting at the moment.

Anyway, consider trying it out if you use a bunch of sites with feeds.
