Most of the comments on YouTube are rightfully disdained by anyone qualified to disdain things, and for good reason. Good news, though, there is help!
First, firefox users can install YouTube Comment Snob which hides comments that are full of spelling errors, bad capitalization, or excessive punctuation. It isn’t perfect, but it tends to help a lot. Recommended!
A little while ago, XKCD had a comic in which someone implements a virus to read their YouTube comments back to them (aloud). This week, YouTube added the “feature”: you can hear an audio preview of your comments:
