Design update

I need to update the design of this blog. My two main goals are:

Allow for wider posts (without worrying about pictures or videos running into the sidebar)
Less stuff on the sidebars. The blogroll and archives list are very long and could probably just live on their own pages.

Anything else I should be looking at?

1 Andy { 01.14.09 at 2:04 pm }: Yeah maybe nix one of the columns entirely? You could prob move the search bar to the header as well to cut down on widgets.
2 Matt { 01.14.09 at 3:29 pm }: Yeah, I think I’ll nuke the right column. Good point about the space in the header, I hadn’t thought of moving stuff there. I don’t really want the text to be wider than it is now, longer lines get harder to read, but it’ll be nice to have the space for larger video or images.
