I enjoyed this talk by Ira Glass, of This American Life, about storytelling, and what makes a good (or bad) story. A lot of the exact same advice applies to making presentations, unsurprisingly.
Glass’s three-part manifesto on the subject is worth reading, too. I especially liked the third segment where he discussed attributes of stories that don’t work for radio.
